Former CNN Anchor Joins Season 5 Of Real Housewives Of Melbourne
Melbourne's favourite housewives are back and they've got three new friends joining the fray.
Following a two-year hiatus, the Real Housewives of Melbourne are heading back to our screens for more glamour, more events and so much more shouting.
In the upcoming fifth season, returning housewives Gamble Breaux, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello and Gina Liano are joined by three new faces, Kyla Kirkpatrick, Cherry Dipietrantonio and global television news anchor and journalist Anjali Rao.
Anjali Rao joins the crew following more than two decades as a TV journalist and news anchor appearing across CNN, Sky News, Channel 5 News.
The multi-award-winning journalist has also appeared on The Project and Studio 10 and has interviewed some of the world's biggest names like Bill Clinton, Al Gore, the Dalai Lama, and Rihanna.
She'll be joined by Kyla Kirkpatrick aka The Champagne Dame. A Champagne ambassador, Kyla runs one of Australia's most successful champagne sales businesses -- Emperor Champagne.
Kyla also runs champagne masterclasses, hosts events and -- of course -- runs tours of France's Champagne region.
The third and final new housewife is Cherry Dipietrantonio who may be a Melbourne housewife but originally hails from Southhampton in the UK.
The yoga instructor met her husband when she was on a gap year in Bali, and the pair married in Melbourne three years later and now share three children.
We can't wait to see what these three get up to -- though Foxtel has yet to confirm when the 10-part series is set to kick off.
We'll have our Champagne at the ready*.
*Okay it'll probably be cheap sparkling. Sorry, Kyla.
