I’m A Celebrity 2020: Perez Hilton The Seventh Celebrity To Leave The Jungle
In a short but sweet stay in the camp, Perez Hilton is the latest celebrity to pack his bags and farewell his celebrity campmates.
Arriving as the final intruder in the sixth season, the gossip guru and celebrity blogger made a huge impact on the camp.
Landing straight into the thick of it and facing one of the series’ most notorious trials -- Viper Room -- Perez smashed the previous 16-minute record held by Yvie Jones staying in the underground chamber full of snakes for more than 29 minutes.
Soon after, Perez was forced to struggle with some tasty jungle treats in the Oh My Gob trial, eating a ‘teat lovers pizza’ (it was as bad as it sounds), as well as chugging back a cool refreshing glass of ‘coca colon’ (even worse than it sounds).
Not satisfied with his solid trial performances, Perez went on to tackle the Buns of Steel trial where he was the only celeb to successfully bungee jump off a platform holding a giant pickle.
Though he missed the intended burger target the first time around, Perez was given a second opportunity to jump, landing the pickle directly on the patty and securing the camp a full suite of stars.
Perez’s time in the jungle was for OzChild, an organisation that provides support for children in the foster care system as well as offering assistance, training and support for families.
Perhaps he’ll be most remembered for his role in the shocking, divisive Bananagate 2020 where the campmates nearly tore each other apart over some sliced bananas, or maybe he’ll be remembered for his A-list celeb gossip, one thing’s for sure: our celebs won’t be forgetting Perez any time soon.
