‘It’s No One’s Fault, It’s Just Life’: Bachelor Matt Agnew And Chelsie McLeod Split
Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod have revealed they have split, six months after wrapping up filming of 'The Bachelor'.
The couple made the announcement on their respective Instagram pages on Sunday.
Agnew wrote the pair's relationship "hasn't translated from filming to the real, everyday world" as they had hoped.
"These past six months since filming finished have been a very unique experience," he wrote.
"Chels and I have made some beautiful memories together that I'll always cherish, and I wish her nothing but the absolute best.
"Chel is a very special woman and I want her to find the happiness she deserves."
Agnew added there "absolutely is not" anyone else in his life.
"It's no one's fault, it's just life," he said.
McLeod also confirmed the news on Instagram on Sunday, saying Agnew showed her "what it was like to be respected in a relationship".
"I wish him nothing but the best," she wrote, apologising to fans who were invested in the pair's relationship.
"Thank you so much to everyone for your support and kind words over what was an exciting, rewarding, challenging and emotional journey," McLeod said.
The news comes almost two months after Agnew picked McLeod in an emotional finale or 'The Bachelor' in September.
