'The Crown' Season Three Has Dropped On Netflix And Fans Are Already Obsessed
Olivia Colman has taken the reins from Claire Foy as season three's Queen Elizabeth II.
This time around, the 10-episode season is set to examine between 1964 and 1977, beginning with Harold Wilson's election as Prime Minister and ending with the Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II.
In contrast to the show's first two seasons, the third sees an entirely new cast playing older versions of the previous season's characters, with Marion Bailey replacing Victoria Hamilton as the Queen Mother, Derek Jacobi replacing Alex Jennings as the Duke of Windsor and Ben Daniels replacing Matthew Goode as Lord Snowdon.
John Lithgow, however, continued his role as the elderly Winston Churchill.
