'I Might Be Open To That': Sharna Burgess Isn't Ruling Out Being The Next 'Bachelorette'

Is the 'DWTS' judge ready to be Dancing with the Studs?

Speaking to the hosts of 'Studio 10', Sharna was asked about her comments from Derby Day when former 'Bachelorette' Georgia Love asked about her love life.

"I might be open to that," Sharna reiterated when Sarah Harris asked about if she would be interested in taking up the 'Bachelorette' mantle next year.

"I am genuinely and honestly looking for love and I now am in a place where I’m so ready for it too," Sharna continued.

"I've been so, so busy for the last nearly nine years, constantly on the show, constantly on tour," she said, "I'm ready to build a family, to meet that person and to build a life."

Punters traded in their monochromatic Derby Day looks for colourful numbers as they headed to Flemington for the 2019 Lexus Melbourne Cup.

Sharna is returning to 'Dancing with the Stars' for the second season next year, and has also been part of the American version multiple times.

Earlier in the year, she spoke to 10 daily about the romance rumours she's constantly part of when it comes to her celeb dance partners.

"Because I'm single, every season I'm on [the show] there are love rumours," she said at the time.

But now it appears love is on the brain, with Sharna telling the 'Studio 10' panel that she's keen to be part of the "great success rate" the Australian 'Bachelor' franchise has.

As for if her potential bachelors need to be good dancers, Sharna wasn't too worried saying, "I'm a pretty good teacher".
