'It’s Nikki Webster!': Sydney Olympics Icon Revealed As The Masked Singer’s Alien

Nikki Webster has become the third ‘Masked Singer’ to remove their disguise, stepping out from the Alien costume in an exciting reveal.

Alien had belted out an impressive cover of 5SOS’ “Youngblood” for her second appearance on the show but landed in the bottom two along with Prawn, who, after the audience vote, managed to keep his head for another round in the competition.

While the panel was sad to see Alien leaving, they were also pleased they were about to uncover the identity of another mystery celeb.“I’m dying to find this one out,” Jackie O said.

And after an excruciating struggle with the gigantic Alien head and a swish of long blonde hair – Nikki Webster appeared.

While Dave, Lindsay and Jackie had been way off the mark with their respective guesses of Lydia Lassila, Samantha Jade and Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins – Dannii was right on the money.

“It was my first guess and I went home and then I looked up on your single, your first single had a little alien on it,” Dannii said of Nikki’s iconic millennium pop hit, “Strawberry Kisses”.

Nikki explained that she’d told “no-one” about her appearance on the show and said she’s been making up “little white lies” to explain why she’s been sneaking off to a secret location.

While the singer has mostly shied away from the spotlight since her 2000 debut, she said saying ‘yes’ to ‘The Masked Singer’ was all about impressing her five-year-old daughter, Skylah.

“I just want my daughter to watch it at home and see if she can pick me,” she explained.

“Did you guess me, Skylah? I hope you did and I hope you love the alien, so it was for you baby girl!” Nikki said.

'The Masked Singer Australia' airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7.30 on 10 and WIN Networks.
