'That Is Creepy!': 'Gogglebox' Reacts To Vintage Sex Education Videos

This week, the 'Gogglebox' households took an awkward stroll down memory lane, remembering the first time they learned about the birds and the bees.

Watching the British documentary "Let's Talk About Sex" on SBS, the families were treated to some of the sex education videos that were being shown to youngsters in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

As the doco notes, plenty of old sex-ed films relied on animation to inform school kids about the unexpected places their bodies were about to start sprouting hair from.

Watching one clip from 1962, that really showcased the hairy force of puberty in action, the families took turns to remember their own experiences with surprising tufts of fuzz during their teen years.

"Nobody told me I was going to get back hair, it just came!" complained Matty Fahd.

"When he was five," chimed in his wife Sarah Marie.

"I think every single one of our kids, when they've gotten pubic hair, has announced it to us very proudly," mum Stacey Jackson announced.

The doco then tackled the delicate topic of ~random erections~ which had everyone in a fit of giggles -- or for those sitting with their parents, more of a cheek-burning sit in silence.

But it was a 1975 clip that went viral in 2013 showing a mum walking in on her son during a ... private moment that had the Goggleboxers absolutely horrified.

"Oh, excuse me, Ricky," the mum says with the same dead eyes of someone possessed by a demon in a horror film.

"That is creepy!" said Dad Matt Dalton.

Although there were some creepy moments, the show really encouraged a safe space for our Goggleboxers to open up about some of their most intimate memories, even if we had preferred they'd kept the info to themselves.

Great-grandmother Emily Silbery announced (after literally no-one asked) that she experienced her first orgasm while "riding a bike", although she had no idea what had just happened.

And after this segment, neither do we.

Adam and Symon agreed it was "the loosest show" they'd ever watched and we'd have to agree.

'Gogglebox Australia' Airs Thursdays at 8.30pm On 10 And Win Network.
