'Love Has No Gender': Rachael Spills On Relationship With Vakoo

In a surprise 'Bachelor' twist that no one saw coming, it looks like contestants Rachael Arahill and Vakoo Kauapirura have found love after all -- with each other!

ICYMI; the internet was sent into a major tizzy earlier this week after New Idea published snaps of 'Bachelor' evictees Rachael and Vakoo smooching up a storm and holding hands during an intimate dinner date in Sydney.

Speaking to Rach after she was booted from the mansion by Matt for slipping her digits to a crew member, 10 daily got the low down on what exactly is going on between her and the 23-year-old model.

"Yeah, we've been having some fun, I guess you could say!" Rachael confirmed when asked about the new romance.

"It's kind of casual at the moment -- there's not much else to report on that you haven't already seen," she added, referring to the telling photographs that can be found here.

And while the girls' blossoming relationship may seem like it has come out of left field, according to Rachael it was her and Vakoo's increasingly close relationship that developed throughout the competition that lead to romantic feelings eventually flourishing.

"Vak and I became really close in the mansion," Rach explained. "We're quite open-minded people and we both believe that love has no gender, so we're seeing what happens and just exploring a bit, I guess."

Whispers that the outspoken duo had become more than just pals first began to surface when Rachael posted a snap alongside the Namibian-born beauty with the caption, "Thankful we went on this crazy journey or I wouldn’t of [sic] met my soul mate."

And while many have reacted positively to the new pairing, others have voiced suspicions on the conveniently-timed paparazzi photos, with naysayers insisting it's all for show -- not that it bothers Rachael in the slightest.

"To be honest, I don't really read any articles about myself," she said. "I was only really made aware that people thought that it was a stunt when someone asked about it today!"

"In the end, I don't really care for what opinions people have about [the relationship] -- it's irrelevant to me."
