BH90210: Beverly Hills, 90210 Reboot Is Coming To 10

Nineteen years after 'Beverly Hills, 90210' debuted on 10, the iconic series is set to return to the network in the form of 'BH90210'.

In what's sure to bring in a flood of nostalgia for those who were obsessed with the '90s teen drama, the brand-new series -- which has been described as "not quite a reboot but a show about a reboot" -- will see the return of several OG cast members as they reunite to get a 'Beverly Hills, 90210' reboot up and running.

Starring Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling, the series will see former teen idols play heightened versions of themselves in the revival that is said to be inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.

The series has already debuted in the US to rave reviews, with one social media users labelling 'BH90210' as "the best thing to happen to 2019"

Just recently, Shannen Doherty -- who played Brenda in the original and the revived series -- opened up about deciding to be a part of the revamped show as a tribute to her late former co-star and friend, Luke Perry, who played her on-and-off flame Dylan in the original.

"These guys know, I definitely wasn't going to do it. Nothing against the show, I knew that the show would get sold and do well with or without me," she said during TV Critics Association panel earlier this month.

"They didn't need me, so it just wasn't at that moment what I wanted to be doing. And when Luke passed away, things drastically changed for me and I thought it was a great opportunity to sort of honour him," she said.

"I'm really glad I made that decision because now I get to sit up here with a lot of people that I respect and that I love and we went on this amazing journey together where we got to sort of heal through losing somebody who means the world to all of us," she added.

BH90210 will premiere on Tuesday, September 24 at 8.30pm on 10 and WIN Networks.
