Rove Returns With The LOLs For 'Saturday Night Rove'

We had a taste during last year's Pilot Week line up, now Rove is returning with his funny friends for a six-week series to air on Saturday nights.

Broadcast live in front of a studio audience, 'Saturday Night Rove' is guaranteed to bring the lols to your Saturday night as Rove McManus plays host to some of Australia’s funniest comedians as they drop by to share a bev with the TV icon.

Along with Rove, there'll be a whole lot of series regulars, including Alex Lee, Alex Jae, Justin Hamilton, and the Aussie queen of comedy, Judith Lucy.

Speaking on his return to 10, Rove said: "It’s great to be back doing what I love most, which is causing trouble in a live television studio".

He continued, "I’m also looking forward to the idea that, whether you are staying in or on your way out, we can be a hub for people to come and hang out on their Saturday night. Plus, our drinks won’t be anywhere near as overpriced."

Saturday Night Rove premieres Saturday, 24 August At 7:30pm on 10 and 10 play.
