The Bachelor Australia 2019: The 7 Most Memorable Introductions, Ranked
It's that time of year again!
Welcome back to another year of love, lust, tears, tantrums and everything in between as we kick off another year of 'The Bachelor Australia' that's set to be out of this world (geddit?!).
In tonight's premiere, we met a bunch of beautiful ladies who will all be competing for astrophysicist Matt Agnew's heart, but with so much competition, it's imperative that the girls make a lasting impression on our Bachelor if they want to stay in the competition.
Some wear outlandish outfits, while others opt for unique gifts or show off their impressive talents -- but no matter what they bring to the table, it's all hugely entertaining for us at home.
So without further adieu, we bring you tonight's most creative introductions ranked as we kick off another season of 'The Bachelor Australia' and Matt begins his journey in finding love!
7. Abbie The Gemini
Oh Abbie, bless you! Upon meeting our hunky Bach and hearing that he's an astrophysicist, dear Abbie replies with "... I'm a Gemini!". Of course, Matt -- being ever the non-condescending gentleman -- replies that he's a Leo. Love that!
6. Hannah's Love Actually Reference
Clearly a romantic at heart, Hannah made her entrance by pulling out place cards that uh, featured a picture of Matty J and Laura -- a la 'Love Actually'. Lucky for her, Matt got the reference straight away, 'cos that could have been reaaaally awkward otherwise.
5. Kristen Wants Matt To Check Out Her Box
Girlfriend knows what she wants! On top of delivering some hilariously cheeky double entendres as she gifted Matt a fortune cookie as her introduction present, she's also happily taken the reins from last season's "Cat from Bali" in the form of "Kristen who really, really loves China". We stan!
4. Nichole's Roaring Entrance
There's no way Matt will be forgetting 25-year-old Nichole anytime soon, with the Queenslander making a roaring entrance to the mansion on a motorbike. Colour us impressed!
3. Sogand's Language Of Love
Persian beauty Sogand did what any one of us would do when meeting the Bachelor if we were bilingual. She got him to propose to her in Farsi without him even know what he was repeating. A true queen!
2. Vakoo's Red Carpet Arrival
Move over Vanessa Sunshine, 'cos here comes Vakoo! We were introduced to the outlandish model in the back of the limo, where she was bringing us the lols as she practised her introduction several times before meeting Matt -- but not before rolling out her own red carpet.
1. Rachael The Blushing Bride
We love a wildcard, and it looks like this year's will come in the form of the hilarious Rachael! Not only did she rock up dressed as an actual bride when meeting Matt for the first time (along with her BFF as her "bridesmaid"), she completely forgot his name as she strutted off to the mansion. A legend!
Stay tuned for more antics tomorrow when we return for another episode of The Bachelor!
'The Bachelor Australia' premieres on Wednesday, 31 July at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 play.
