ICYMI: The Major Moments You Might Have Missed From The 2019 Logies
Whew, what a huge night!
If you happened to miss even a few minutes of the 537 hours-long broadcast, we've got you covered with a wrap up of the most memorable moments of the entire evening.
First up was Tom Gleeson's monologue in which he tore pretty much everyone to shreds from Karl Stefanovic to Costa Georgiadis.
Carrie Bickmore confessed that she thought the first episode of 'The Project' was "terrible" after the gang won the Logie for Most Popular Panel or Current Affairs Program.
Paralympian Dylan Alcott gave one of the most powerful speeches of the night about disability representation after winning the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent.
Both 'Gardening Australia' and 'Gogglebox' cleaned up, and we'd like to think it was because of this beautiful genre-melding clip.
The ear-piercing sound of cutlery clinking across plates made it onto the broadcast and had everyone struggling to hear what was going on above all that CLATTERING.
The extremely adorable and always hilarious 'Bluey' took home the Logie for the Most Outstanding Children's Program and the entire country (but especially Brisbane) was stoked.
Waleed Aly presented the legendary journalist and former 7.30 report host Kerry O'Brien with the Hall of Fame award -- which had everyone remembering how much they miss him on their telly,
Mick Molloy called Costa Georgiadis a jazzy little hippie right before 'Gardening Australia' picked up the Logie for Most Popular Lifestyle Program.
Julia Morris rocked up on stage with this exquisite beard to match Costa's luscious facial hair as they presented the award for Outstanding Entertainment to 'Have You Been Paying Attention?'
Guy Sebastian performed "Choir" and proved he's still got it.
Jessica Mauboy also performed and slayed the audience, both in the room and at home.
And then Delta Goodrem brought it home with a rousing medley that included Olivia Newton John's "Physical" plus Delta's own "Lost Without You" AND "Born To Try".
It was truly a wild time.
And finally, it's likely you wouldn't have missed it, but Tom Gleeson took home the Gold Logie, and delivered us a speech about how we all need to lighten up.
You can watch it over here.
Until next time, folks!
