'Neighbours': Christie Whelan Browne Is Heading To Ramsay Street

It's all happening on 'Neighbours'.

It's been a busy couple of months for our friends on Ramsay Street.

They've seen the arrival of Jemma Donovan (daughter of 'Neighbours' patriarch Jason Donovan) who will make her on-screen debut next month, and Georgie Stone is currently filming her role as Neighbours’ first transgender character, Mackenzie Hargreaves.

Not only that, but the long-running series has been nominated for a whopping six times for this year's TV Week Logie Awards!

Now, in another exciting move for the Aussie show,  award-winning actress Christie Whelan Browne is gearing up to join the cast in a guest role as Scarlett Brady, who is described as "a complex individual, a die-hard romantic and to be frank, a master manipulator."

Scarlett will arrive in Ramsay Street with a hidden agenda and a severe obsession over one of our favourite characters -- and we can't wait.

Christie has already starred in a number of most well-known Aussie dramas, including 'Wonderland', 'Offspring', 'House Husbands' and 'The Wrong Girl', and her upcoming 'Neighbours' appearance is sure to bring the drama.

Christie will make her debut on Neighbours in September 2019.

Watch 'Neighbours' 6.30pm Weeknights on 10 Peach.
