Jennifer Aniston Is Down For A ‘Friends’ Reunion
They've previously said there was no chance of a 'Friends' reunion, but with the show's 25th anniversary on the horizon, the cast may have had a change of heart.
Appearing on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Wednesday, Jennifer Aniston gave a glimmer of hope to fans who hoped to see some form of reunion with the cast of the iconic '90s series.
"Listen, I told you this, I would do it," Aniston told DeGeneres. "The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I'm sure."
“Anything could happen!” she added.
The popular sitcom ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004, and along with Aniston as Rachel Green, also starred Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller).
Fans have long begged the stars for a small-screen reunion, however, Aniston had previously said that it was doubtful.
"I don't know what we would do," she said to ITV in 2016. "I think that period of time was sort of nostalgic, you know?"
Aniston's castmate Matthew Perry also expressed doubts over a cast gathering, saying in 2017, "When I'm asleep, I have this nightmare that we do 'Friends' again and nobody cares, we do a whole series, we come back, and nobody cares about it."
Fingers crossed they've changed their minds!
