Patrick J. Adams Will Be Returning To 'Suits' For Final Season
The actor will return in a guest role for the ninth and final season of 'Suits'.
Patrick J. Adams is getting ready to suit up again as Mike Ross for the ninth and final season of 'Suits'.
Adams will make his appearance on episode five, where he'll be “getting embroiled in a case against Harvey [Gabriel Macht] and Samantha [Katherine Heigl],” executive producer Aaron Korsh told Deadline.
He added, “He doesn’t exactly know that Samantha is going to be involved when he comes back, but he does know Harvey is going to be.”
Adams shared the exciting news over his Instagram, writing in a caption alongside an image of a suited-up Ross:
“Go time. Very excited to head back into the fray one last time. Thanks to the fans for keeping the flame alive and to Mr. Aaron Korsh for welcoming me back.”
Adams also relayed his excitement to Deadline, saying he “couldn’t be happier" to rejoin his castmates for the final chapter.
"I’ve missed my TV family, and am looking forward to seeing what kind of trouble Mike Ross can stir up at the firm one last time,” Adams said, adding, “But if the wardrobe department thinks they’re getting back the suits I stole when I left, they’re going to be very disappointed.”

Both Adams and Meghan Markle -- who played Ross' fiancee Rachel Zane --left the popular series at the end of the seventh season, which aired in April 2018. Markle, of course, went on to marry Prince Harry, with Adams attending the royal wedding with wife, 'Pretty Little Liars' star Troian Bellisario.
Adams and Bellisario also welcomed their first child -- a baby girl -- into the world in October last year.
