Here are 14 of our favourite winter warmers you can make for yourself to fight those chills in the upcoming weeks.
Chinese Chicken Sweetcorn Pie
Pies are basically a pastry-covered hug you can give yourself at any time but Sara's Chinese chicken sweetcorn pie adds the whopper flavour combo of Schezuan peppers, pressure-cooker chicken and a flavorful fried corn combo to really make this pie a winner.

Lamb Shoulder Ragout Wholemeal Pappardelle Pasta
When it comes to meals to warm the cockles of your heart you just can't go pasta ragout. Sorry for the pun, but we mean it about Liliana Battle's lamb ragout which can be paired with some amazing homemade pappardelle or -- you know -- you could always quietly just grab a pack from the shops.

Black Broth Noodle Soup with Dumplings & Star Anise Smoked Chicken
Adam Liaw won the second season of 'MasterChef', so trust that he knows what he's doing in the kitchen. His recipe for black broth noodle soup probably isn't for novices, but for those wanting to push themselves in the kitchen, you won't regret it.

Roast Lamb with Beer Battered Cauliflower with Reduction of Lamb and Beer
Another 'MasterChef' champ, Sashi Cheliah, gives his take on roast lamb, this time paired with beer-battered cauliflower and a pea puree. Oh and if that wasn't enough beer in your roast -- he paired this stunner of a meal with a lamb and beer jus you'll have to resist the urge to drink.

Nigella's Tarragon French Roast Chicken
If all that beer battery isn't really your style and you're after something a little more classic, the culinary queen Nigella Lawson stopped by this season to test the gang with her tarragon French roast chicken. With a tarragon butter slipped under the chicken skin, this roast is tender, juicy and moist as ever. Perfect with any moreish side dishes or even just on its own.

Gary’s Mums Lamb Stew with Dumplings
Mother knows best, and no one is more aware of that than judge Gary Mehigan who brought out his mum's classic lamb stew with dumplings for a MasterClass back in 2012. Gaz's tasty lamb stew is made all the more delicious with the little bursts of dumplings scattered throughout.

It was the dish that may have sent Leah packing this season, but Leno Lattarulo hasn't skimped when it comes to the details on how to make the perfect seafood Paella. Prawn Curry with Cumin Rice and Raita
Another way to spice up some seafood in a wintery warming way would be taking a note out of the curry king of this season's book. Sandeep's prawn curry isn't just a warmer -- it's got a bit of a kick to it, and that's exactly what you need in the colder months. Paired with a cumin ghee rice and a fresh coconut cream and cucumber raita, you absolutely can't go wrong with this one.

For the vegetarians out there -- or if you're just looking for a meat-free night of the week -- Matt Preston also debuted his stunner of a vegetarian lasagne which is basically like a snuggie except instead of a blanket with sleeves it's just blankets of pasta wrapped around carrots, celery, zucchini and all wrapped up with a rich spinach bechamel. Yes, thank you.
