'I Can't Wait To Tell My Mum': Bonnie Anderson Up For First Logie Award
She's playing one of Ramsay Street's newest residents but Bonnie Anderson has already scored her first Logie nomination.
Speaking to 10 daily on the phone just minutes after finding out she's nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent, Anderson said she couldn't wait to tell the person who's been one of her biggest supporters since joining 'Neighbours'.
"I'm going to call my family soon, I can't wait to tell my mum," Anderson said from the Gold Coast.
"Mum is my number one supporter, she's the one who helps me late at night with my scripts. I'll call her and send her photos of my scripts and she'll be the other actor, it's quite funny!" she laughed.

Anderson made her debut on 'Neighbours' just last year as Beatrix Nilsson -- the first time the singer and musician has shown off her acting chops.
"I'm really overwhelmed and really happy," said Anderson of the nomination. "
It's really exciting because it's my first year of being on 'Neighbours' and doing acting and being a part of that world... it's really special," she added.
'Neighbours' has been recognised with nominations across the board this year -- for Most Popular Drama Series, Most Outstanding Drama Series, a Gold Logie nom for Eve Morey (Sonja Recbecchi) and Most Popular Actor for Ryan Moloney (Jarrod "Toadfish" Rebecchi).
"'Neighbours' has done so incredibly, it's been a big year and everyone has been putting in the work and the storylines have been incredible," said Anderson of the recognition.
"There's nothing better than waking up at five in the morning, sometimes, and driving into work -- it's the only time I get excited to wake up that early!" she laughed.
Anderson said there's something special about the 'Neighbours' cast and crew -- a bunch of people who are "down to earth hard workers".
" It's all about teamwork, no one is out for themselves and that's something nice to be a part of. Going into work every day and knowing we're there for each other, it's pretty awesome," she said.
Anderson has had a huge year, releasing her powerful single "Sorry" -- a song that she also got to sing as her character Bea on 'Neighbours'.

"At the beginning, I didn't want to be doing the music thing, I said the producers, look 'let's just focus on the acting side of things' because I was very new to it," said Anderson of blending her musical background into her character's storyline.
"And then, six months later, we spoke again and my character started singing and it's been very organic and I love the way that she's slowly transitioned into that side of things," she said.
