'90s Icons Reese Witherspoon And Joshua Jackson Are Reuniting
Reese Witherspoon and Joshua Jackson are about to star in a brand new drama set in the decade that launched their careers.
The pair both worked on 'Cruel Intentions' back in 1999 but will be sharing a lot more screen time together on the upcoming 'Little Fires Everywhere' -- which we're definitely going to get mixed up with Reese's hit show, 'Big Little Lies' and end up calling 'Big Little Fires'.
Anyway, the pair will play Ohio-based husband and wife Bill and Elena Richardson in the mini-series based on the bestselling book penned by American author Celeste Ng.
Kerry Washington has also signed on to the project, playing single mother and struggling artist Mia Warren.
According to TV Line, the 'Little Fires Everywhere' story will follow "the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives."
"The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood -- and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster," the description reads.
Which is disappointing if you were hoping for a story of petty -- and large scale -- crimes of arson but very good news if you feel like sinking your teeth into some FAMILY SECRETS.
Reese and Joshua celebrated their upcoming status as colleagues in a decidedly un-90s way via Twitter.
"So excited to work with my friend @vancityjax," Reese wrote, with Josh sending her a "right back at you".
There's no premiere date set for 'Little Fires Everywhere' just yet but we're hoping the Hulu mini-series will make its way to Australia.
