MasterChef 2019: Prince Harry Lookalike Tim Is Already A Fan Favourite

MasterChef suddenly feels a lot more ~regal~ thanks to our new contestant, Tim.

The kitchen garden educator from Ballarat made George Calombaris do a double take as he wheeled in his first dish, in the hopes of making it to the top 24.

"Oh my god, you look familiar!" George exclaimed.

"You look like Prince Harry," he said of the ginger-haired amateur cook, who wouldn't look out of place in a family photo with Queen Elizabeth.

MasterChef fans were inclined to agree there was something royal about Tim, swearing that he's the spitting image of expectant dad and husband of Meghan Markle, Harry Windsor.

Viewers and members of #TeamHarry were also impressed that Tim works with school kids, educating them about growing their own produce and getting their hands dirty in the kitchen.

Even our Season 8 winner, Elena Duggan, approved of Tim's cracking pork belly dish and passion for kitchen gardens.

And anyone wondering if the cheeky teacher could actually cook was soon impressed after he plated up a crunchy pork belly with silky smooth celeriac puree, charred fennel and softly stewed apple sauce.

The judges agreed with Gary declaring the dish to be "dee-licious" with his flavour-packed sauce and well-executed dish nabbing him the first white apron of the season.

The talented cook is now only facing one big problem -- everyone is probably going to call him Harry for the rest of the season.
