Bachelor In Paradise 2019: Jules Posts Throwback Pics Serving In Afghanistan

Our very own Jules Bourne posted several photos from his time in the armed services in an Anzac Day tribute.

Jules posted a set of three images from his time in Afghanistan, writing in the caption of the throwbacks that his time in the Middle East felt like a lifetime ago.

"I'm grateful for it shaping me into the man I am today," he wrote, "If you told 20 yr old me I would go from the sands of Afghan to the sands of Fiji in the time I did I would have called you mad."

Before his time in Paradise and prior to attempting to win Ali Oetjen's heart on last season of The Bachelorette, Jules served in the army for five years, including a tour of Afghanistan.

"Life is beautiful, unique and ever-changing," the caption continued, "Enjoy your ANZAC day and use it to reflect and enjoy a few beers & cheers with mates."

Meanwhile, in Paradise, Jules narrowly avoided being sent home, urging Alisha to follow her heart and continue to investigate their connection. Time will tell if the on-again-off-again couple will make it through the final days of Paradise.
