Dancing With The Stars 2019: Grant Denyer's Back After Hospital Stint

Grant Denyer couldn't be happier to be back on 'Dancing' for the semi-finals.

Denyer spent the last few weeks in hospital to treat a serious back injury and took a break from his usual hosting duties with Amanda Keller to recuperate.

Our two favourite Scotts -- Tweedie and Denise -- stepped on to the Dancing With The Stars dancefloor to help Amanda out but luckily, Grant has made it back in time for the semis as Courtney, Sam, Constance and Jett twirl closer to the mirror ball trophy, and the $50k for their chosen charity.

"It is so good to be back here...right in time for the business end of the series, " Denyer said as the show kicked off.

"Great to be back on my feet --  a bit of a unique and magical procedure has happened to get me here tonight!" he said of his recovery process.

Grant's wife Chezzi wrote on Instagram that it was remarkable that the TV host had managed to make it back on his feet -- and back to work -- so quickly.

"He’s still a bit stiff, and has to lie down flat when he can... but we are miles ahead of where we were a week ago!" she wrote, adding that she was still going to have a hard time convincing Grant to slow down.

We're so glad you're back, Grant!
