Legs, Legs, Legs: Courtney And Josh Raise The Bar Again, Despite Injuries
Courtney Act and Joshua Keefe have burst onto the 'Dancing With The Stars' quarter-finals stage without missing a beat.
Ahead of their first dance of the evening, the pair were concerned that their growing list of dance-related injuries might hold them back from holding their spot at the top of the leader board.
"We want to take more chances... and make the routines more complex and it's starting to take a toll on our bodies," explained Joshua ahead of their jazzy performance to Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance".
The pro explained on Instagram stories this week that he'd put his hip out and Shane "has a torn intercostal thingy".
"And then my knee is buggered from contemporary,” Joshua he said, adding that the duo was "in pieces".
"Maybe we've bitten off more than we can chew with two routines and all the injuries," said Courtney.
But it seems as though the couple were just ambitious enough, with their jazz number earning one of their strongest collective scores from the judges.
"What a way to open up the quarterfinals!" said Sharna Burgess. "You've raised the bar again," she added
"Legs, legs, legs, I want them," Sharna told Courtney.
The pair scored an 8 from Craig Revel Horwood, and a 9 each from Sharna and Tristan Macmanus, giving them a total of 26 ahead of their Trio performance.
"Could you just have a crack at being mediocre," our guest host, and former Dancing contestant, Denise Scott asked Courtney.
We doubt that!
