Jordan Peele's 'Twilight Zone' Will Unlock Another Dimension On Network 10
It's the series that brought us some of the most mind-bending, terrifying and thought-provoking episodes of television and now, in the hands of Jordan Peele, 'The Twilight Zone' is back.
Before we enter the topsy-turvy world of The Twilight Zone, the good news is the wait is almost over for Aussies. The series will land on 10 All Access on April 19, with the first four episodes of the series available to binge.
The series will also debut on 10 and WIN Networks on April 18 at 10.30 pm with a special on-air premiere, with further episodes of the series dropping on 10 All Access every Friday.
The series first premiered in 1959, an anthology series which pretended unrelated, standalone stories focused on characters in situations that were always somewhat unusual -- what the show's creator Rod Serling called entering The Twilight Zone.
Serling not only created the series but also would present each episode, opening the series with a monologue that asked viewers to imagine themselves in the position of the characters they were about to watch. Serling also wrote 92 out of the 156 episodes of the original five seasons.
The iconic series has been refreshed several times since Serling's original, with Burgess Meredith, Forest Whitaker and Charles Aidman all stepping into his shoes. And now, the newly minted horror master Jordan Peele is stepping up to the plate.
Following the huge success of his two feature films, Get Out and Us, Peele is the perfect fit to host and narrate the series.

For fans of the original series, keep your eyes Peeled, as the director told ET "we have a ton of [Easter Eggs] in the series".
"If you are a fan of the original Twilight Zone, we've got little gifts for you."
Meanwhile Network 10's own CEO and Twilight Zone fan Paul Anderson couldn't be more excited about the new series' launch across 10 saying, "For fans of the classic series, it will be a fresh perspective on one of the most iconic series of all time, and for new viewers, it will open up the possibility of a world they’ve not encountered before."
"Long considered to be the godfather of sci-fi, the series is set to be the perfect long weekend binge."
