High Fives All Round As 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Gets Renewed For Another Season

The 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' cast reacted in the cutest way after hearing the show has been picked up for another season.

A video posted to Twitter shows the announcement being made by a rep from NBC, the network that saved the show after it was dumped by Fox.

"[I can't say] how happy and proud we were to have you on NBC this season," the woman tells the cast and writers off camera.

"And I'm even happier to say that we would love to have you back next season," she added, as the room erupted in cheers.

Andy Samberg is seen throwing his arms up in excitement, while Terry Crews leaps out of his seat and chucks a script toward the ceiling.

Their castmates Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio and Melissa Fumero similarly look stunned as they take in the good news.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for the Brooklyn Nine-Nine family and their fans -- with the show narrowly avoiding an untimely end after it was cancelled by Fox.

High-profile fans --including Lin-Manuel Miranda -- rallied around the show with a campaign that helped it get picked up by NBC for its sixth season.

Miranda is set to feature on an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine this season, stepping in to play the part of character Amy Santiago's older brother.
