Buffy The Vampire Slayer Cast Reunite For First Time In 16 Years

For the first time in over a decade, a majority of the cast of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' all got together to hang out.

Sending fans of the cult-classic into overdrive the Scoobies, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Charisma Carpenter, Amber Benson and James Marsters all got together at the Wizard World Portland Comic Con.

If that wasn't enough they were joined by Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, James Leary, Clare Kramer, Iyari Limon and Julie Benz.

Despite the crew all coming together for the first time in 16 years, there was one cast member who you might have noticed was missing...

Yeah. Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar.

That wasn't lost on a few of the fans who commented on the many Instagram posts of the crew thoughts like, "how do you have a reunion without buffy!?!"

Another wrote, "A reunion without the two main characters... Thats cool everyone else showed but the main characters not being there kind of puts a hole in the cake lol."

Gellar wasn't the only one missing, Angel's own David Boreanaz was absent, as was Anthony Stuart Head. Another member of the team -- the man behind it all -- Joss Whedon also wasn't part of the big catch-up, and he definitely noticed his own absence poking fun at the get-together on Twitter.

While the cast were all hanging out and posting pics, SMG was honouring one of her other co-stars Selma Blair for her recent interview with Good Morning America.

On Instagram SMG wrote, "To say I’m proud, would be a gross understatement. When I have a cold, I want to hide from the world under my covers. But not Selma. She is facing this diagnosis, the way she faces everything, with dignity, grace and head on."
