The Michael Jackson Doco 'Leaving Neverland' Is Set To Air On 10

The controversial documentary is coming to Australia on 10 and WIN this March.

Leaving Neverland premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and follows the story of two boys who were befriended by pop icon Michael Jackson at the height of his fame.

Brisbane-born Wade Robson, and James Safechuck -- who are now in their 30s -- allege that they were sexually abused by Jackson at his Neverland ranch.

The documentary will air exclusively in Australia on 10 and WIN over two nights -- on Friday, March 8 at 9.00pm and Saturday, March 9 at 9.30pm.

The extended, unedited version of the film will also be available on 10 Play and 10 All Access from Friday, March 8 at 10am.

The doco has been slammed by The Jackson Estate as a "one-sided marathon of unvetted propaganda to shamelessly exploit an innocent man no longer here to defend himself".

The late singer's attorneys have filed a lawsuit against HBO in the United States, claiming the network was in breach of a decades-old contract agreeing not to disparage Jackson.

Finding Neverland was commissioned by HBO and was helmed by British director Dan Reed, who has previously produced docos including Terror In Mumbai, The Paedophile Hunter and The Valley.

Leaving Neverland premieres Friday, March 8 at 9pm, and Saturday March 9, at 9:30pm On 10 and WIN Network.
