Larry David's Daughter Cazzie Is Writing Her Own TV Show
Amazon has ordered a pilot episode of a comedy series written by Cazzie David.
The new series -- Half-Empty -- reportedly follows a "sardonic college student whose overactive imagination leads to catastrophic thinking and an endless chain of social disasters", according to Variety.
So basically, it's just the kind of show we'd expect from the family member of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator, Larry.
The new series has been co-written by Elisa Kalani -- who also collaborated on Cazzie's web series, Eighty-Sixed.
The bite-sized comedy released in 2017 featured Cazzie as the hilariously neurotic, self-deprecating Remi, a millennial who attempts to "win" a breakup after getting dumped by her boyfriend.
The series came out about a year before David's own high-profile break up with Pete Davidson, who then went on to briefly date Ariana Grande.
David shared the good news about Half-Empty via Instagram, writing: "Hey lil update on me in the midst of all the horror and tragedy in the world, we finally get to make our show ab just that :)".
