Golden Globes 2019: Jameela Jamil Responds To Red Carpet 'Mix-Up'
After E! labelled Jameela Jamil's name as her fictional sister from 'The Good Place,' the star reacted to the hilarious prank.
While many believed the stunt to be an awkward blunder at first, it seems that labelling actor Jameela Jamil as 'Kamilah Al-Jamil' was far more likely to be the work of a Good Place superfan -- and the Jamil was here for the sneaky prank.
If you haven't seen the show, a running joke throughout the series is that Jamil's character, Tahani, is constantly being upstaged by her sister by the name of -- you guessed it -- Kamilah Al-Jamil.

Upon hearing about the 'mix-up,' Jamil hit up Twitter to have a good laugh at the meta-joke, saying, "E live red carpet. This is legit the funniest thing I have ever seen. What a joyous mistake. Tahani would DIE! LOO LOL LOL."
She followed up with another appreciation tweet, writing, "Hands down the greatest of red carpet jokes from whoever did this. It’s made my night."
Meanwhile, the official Good Place Twitter account posted, “Tahani found dead,” in response to the savagery.
The 32-year-old also made headlines earlier in the evening for her choice to wear jeans under an extravagant gown on the Golden Globes red carpet, captioning a video posted to her Instagram, "Wearing jeans under my gown because I refuse to be cold for fashion."
What a mood.
