The Best Reactions To Black Mirror’s Choose Your Own Adventure Movie
The first full-length 'Black Mirror' film is here and viewers have *a lot* of feelings about it.
Netflix dropped the highly-anticipated Bandersnatch last night and it's the first major title on the streaming service that allows viewers to choose their own adventure.
Black Mirror fans are given the chance to play God -- in a truly sadistic way -- with the life of the main character Stefan (Fionn Whitehead).
The first scene opens in July 1984, with our young protagonist telling his dad about the CYOA book he's reading called ... Bandersnatch.
"You decide what your character does, like a game," he explains, in the foreboding scene.
The first decision that viewers must make in the interactive film/video game seems harmless enough but will set the course of poor Stefan's life.
"Breakfast?" asks Stefan's father, offering him the excruciating choice of FROSTIES or SUGAR PUFFS.
And to make things more stressful, we're only given a few seconds to make a choice to progress through the dark collection of narratives in Bandersnatch. The simulation can run for 90 minutes, depending on the path you choose or could take as long as two and a half hours to play, its creators told the Hollywood Reporter.
Keeping in mind there are a lot of SPOILERS AHEAD, please enjoy the very best reactions on Twitter to this groundbreaking work of interactive telly.
Brb, we're going to spend the rest of our day trying -- in vain -- to choose the ending where Stefan has a happy, fulfilling life.
