The Episode Titles for Stranger Things Season 3 Are Here And Fans Are Going Wild
The video teaser for season three of Stranger Things has dropped, and fans have wasted no time speculating the meaning behind the episode titles that were unveiled in the trailer.
Producer Shawn Levy spilled to eager fans that they should expect to see much "darker" themes in the upcoming season.
"So season three has a really healthy dose of poppy, bright levity and cultural fun," Levy said to The Playlist earlier this year. "But I can only promise you that season three eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed, than we’ve ever gone before."
So to recap, the episode titles are:
- “Suzie, Do You Copy?”
- “The Mall Rats”
- “The Case of the Missing Life Guard”
- “The Sauna Test”
- “The Source”
- “The Birthday”
- “The Bite”
- “The Battle of Starcourt”
While the titles may be vague, that didn't stop Twitter users from going bonkers over the cryptic announcement.
We had our first look at season three via a teaser trailer released in July, which showed the arrival of Starcourt Mall. The promo vid is chockablock with 1980s mall-culture references, from the vintage logo for Gap, as well as the former bookstore chain Waldenbooks, while Steve Harrington is seen working at Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop.
Stranger Things 3 will be here in 2019.
