The 'Bachelor Vietnam' Contestants Who Fell In Love On The Show Are Still Together

If the finale of the Australian 'Bachelor' left you feeling a little disheartened, two contestants from Bachie Vietnam are here to remind you that love isn’t dead.

Minh Thu and her fellow bachelorette Truc Nhu melted hearts around the world when they professed their love for each other during a surprising rose ceremony.

"I went into this competition to find love," Thu told Nhu on camera.

"And I've found that love for myself but it isn't with you... it's with someone else."

The pair ditched Bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung and --  in truly heartwarming news -- are still deeply in love.

“They left the show and have been together since," executive producer Anh Tran told Nextshark.

"We delivered on our promise that two people would find love,” Tran added.

The couple appeared in an interview on the Bachelor Vietnam Facebook page this week, confirming they were in a relationship.

Anh-Thu Nguyen -- a Bachie Vietnam producer -- told Nextshark how important the couple's public declaration of love has been for queer representation in Vietnam.

“Especially in the context of Vietnamese culture, where family and saving face can often be prioritised over all else, including love, the fact these women made this declaration during the rose ceremony in front of everyone is even more awe-inspiring.

"It’s been a proud experience to see our clip resonate around the world and become an unexpected platform for discussing LGBTQI+ issues in Vietnam on a global scale.”
