Here's What The Seinfeld Apartment Would Look Like In 2018
Don't worry, they didn't forget fusilli Jerry!
One of the most iconic sitcoms of all time, Seinfeld -- the show about nothing -- was always incredibly and acutely aware of how it played with locations.
Throughout the series, episodes that focused on our four bumbling main characters, Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, being placed in a specific location -- be it the waiting area of a Chinese restaurant, a car park or stuck in traffic -- created some of the most memorable episodes.
But the most iconic location of all would have to be Jerry's one-bedroom apartment. It's where all the action happened, and by "action" we mean... nothing.
Celebrating the show's 29th anniversary, Modsy decided to give the apartment a makeover, showing us what Jerry's digs would look like in 2018, with a little update and a few touch-ups here and there -- as well as some cute nods to the series.
Now with a handy sneaker storage near the front door, Jerry also has a couch that Poppie would never pee on.
Playing on Jerry's fondness for cleanliness, the Modsy folks gave him a clean, comfortable and minimalist look for the apartment, while still featuring retro pieces to adhere to Jerry's penchant for clinging to the past.
The website also reimagined what Jerry's apartment would look like in 2018 if Elaine, George and even his neighbour Kramer had taken over the lease, each with their own individual quirks and references.
This isn't the first TV apartment the folks at Modsy have given a modern makeover to, they also gave us modern takes on Monica and Chandler's apartment from Friends as well as Carrie's ridiculous New York apartment from Sex and the City.
