Gordon Ramsay Is Being Nice On MasterChef And People Can't Deal

Fans are here for nice guy Gordon and his fabulous new 'do.

To call Gordon Ramsay  a bit of a hothead might be the understatement of the century.

When he's not dropping expletive-ridden rants in the kitchen and calling chefs "an idiot sandwich", he’s roasting the hell out of random Twitter users and their home cooked meals.

So it’s easy to see why the celebrity chef’s highly-anticipated appearance on this week’s MasterChef left fans pleasantly surprised/confused after 51-year-old showed off a far softer side in stark contrast to his fiery Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares persona.

Hopping across the pond to join Aussie judges Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris in mentoring this year’s contestants, Ramsay appeared far more subdued and encouraging to our wannabe winners – despite dropping the odd bleeped-out f-bomb.

His Mr. Nice Guy approach didn’t go unnoticed by viewers, who were quick to broadcast their disbelief on social media.

Ramsay’s helpful demeanour wasn’t the only thing about his appearance the steal the show on Masterchef this week, with the chef’s sky-high quiff being compared to everything from Cameron Diaz in There’s Something About Mary to Thredbo’s ski slopes.

It's safe to say there’s never a dull moment when Gordo’s in the kitchen.

MasterChef Australia airs Sunday to Thursday on TEN and tenplay.
