The Killers Announce Return To Australia For November Tour

The Killers are heading back Down Under for an epic headline arena tour this November in support of their new album Imploding the Mirage.

Following the release of their latest single "Caution" from their latest album, Vegas rockers The Killers will be performing in a number of Aussie cities to celebrate the new record, which is slated for release Friday, 29th May.

The upcoming tour will mark the group's first show on our shores since 2018, when they sold out ten arena shows as they celebrated their 2017 album Wonderful Wonderful.

All The Major Events Cancelled Due To Coronavirus In Australia

The word 'cancelled' has been stamped over hundreds of Australian concerts, sporting matches and show flyers – here’s what’s not happening so far.

The Australian leg of the Imploding The Mirage Tour will kick off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 11 November, before visiting Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday 14 November, Perth’s RAC Arena on Wednesday 18 November, and wrapping up with the band’s first Melbourne stadium show at AAMI Park on Saturday 21 November.

With coronavirus fears seeing many major events and tours cancelled or postponed, fans of the band likely need not worry about the tour being shut down after the group posted to social media saying they have "been paying close attention to the precautionary measures around the world" and they are "looking forward to a great summer of shows". They also suggested washing your hands to the tune of "Mr. Brightside".

Hand Washing Songs And Memes Are Going Viral After The Spread Of Coronavirus

In the midst of global panic, we can only be certain of one thing -- where there's fear and terror, there's memes and #banter.

The Killers first burst onto the music scene in 2004, topping Australian charts and going double platinum with debut album Hot Fuss, which featured hit singles "Mr. Brightside" and "Somebody Told Me," which, if you've ever been to a karaoke bar at 2 am, continue to be hugely popular.

Since then, the band have sold over twenty-five million albums worldwide, and headlined all of the world’s top festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and received countless accolades including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards and NME Awards.

Tickets for The Killers Australian tour go on sale on Monday 23 March via, while Frontier members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday March 18.
