Britney Spears’ Son Jayden Federline Slams Grandfather Jamie In Instagram Rant
The 13-year-old son of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline sent social media into meltdown after dropping several bombshells over Instagram Live.
Spilling the tea on his parents and grandfather Jamie, the teen didn't hesitate to answer questions from followers, which included fans asking about the #FreeBritney movement, his fight with his grandpa Jamie Spears and his mum making new music.
After fans raised concerns over Britney's mental health, Jayden told fans, “I’ll tell you guys the whole story about my mum and stuff.”
When asked about the family's relationship with grandfather Jamie -- who remains conservator of her estate much to the chagrin of her fans -- Jayden didn't hold back his dislike of his grandfather, saying, “Yeah, he’s a pretty big d–k. He can go die.”
Jamie has been Britney's conservator since 2008 and stepped down last September due to ill health, with temporary conservatorship handed over to care manager Jodi Montgomery. However, he reportedly resumed his duties in January 2020.
When it came to his father, Jayden had much kinder things to say, replying to a fan who asked if his parents would be mad over his public comments with: “No. I mean, my dad doesn’t care. I have the best dad ever. My dad’s literally Jesus.”
The biggest bombshells, however, came in the form of his pop star mum, with Jayden revealing that the "Gimme More" songstress may quit music altogether.
Asked when Britney planned to release new music he said: "Actually I haven't seen her doing a lot of music at all. I don't think that … I don't know, dude. I don't even know."'
He continued, "I remember one time I asked her, I said, 'Mum, what happened to your music?' and she was like, 'I don't know, honey. I think I might just quit it.' I'm like, 'What? What are you saying? Like, do you know how much bank you make off of that stuff?'"
Replying to one user who asked if the singer was "being controlled" in her conservatorship, Jayden admitted: "No. I don't know."
When another fan commented that he should “Help [his] mum break free,” he replied: “That’s what I’m trying to do.”
Jayden also dished out his thoughts on other members of his family's inner circle, calling Britney's boyfriend Sam Asghari a "really good dude" and saying that grandmother Lynne is "literally the best grandma in the universe."
Upon discovering the news of Jayden's explosive video rant -- which was filmed at the Federline house -- Kevin Federline's attorney told Page Six that Federline is "handling" it as a "family matter."
“It’s the result of a 13-year-old acting like a 13-year-old,” Los Angeles family law attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said. “Kevin is handling it like a responsible parent.”
Jayden is currently staying at Kevin’s house, alongside his 14-year-old brother, Sean, as Kevin has 70 percent custody of his sons, while Britney has 30 percent unsupervised rights.
Jayden's Instagram account has since been set to private.
