You Outta Know: Alanis Morissette Is Joining The Bluesfest 2020 Line-Up
Nineties icon Alanis Morissette has officially joined the star-studded lineup for Byron Bay's Bluesfest 2020, where she will play 'Jagged Little Pill' in its entirety.
Ahead of the 25th anniversary of 1995's 'Jagged Little Pill,' which featured bangers such as Ironic, You Oughta Know and Hand in My Pocket, it's now been confirmed that Alanis Morissette will be heading the bill for Byron Bay's Bluesfest 2020.
The album is one of the biggest-selling in pop history, with more than 33 million copies sold across the world since its release.
While the singer's performances are the only ones to have been confirmed at the time of writing, there are whispers that the 45-year-old is set to announce several Australian shows next month to celebrate her iconic album's anniversary -- a prospect that has well and truly sent fans into a tizzy.
The Canadian-American songstress will also be joined by two-time GRAMMY winner Tori Kelly, who arrives off the back of her 2018 album 'Hiding Place'.
Of the additions, festival director Peter Noble OAM said: “at a time when we’ve seen fire and now we are seeing rain in regional Australia, we at Bluesfest are thrilled to announce our next amazing artists in what is fast becoming a classic bill for us.”
Alanis and Tori will also join names like Dave Matthews Band, Crowded House, Lenny Kravitz, The Gipsy Kings and many more for the annual music festival, which takes place Tyagarah Tea Farm.
Byron Bay Bluesfest runs from April 9 to 13, 2020. Tickets are on sale now.
