Miley Cyrus And Cody Simpson Have Trademarked An Edgy Band Name
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are taking their relationship to the next level.
Instead of moving in together, or getting engaged, they're embarking on something much more intimate -- they're starting their own band.
According to TMZ, Cyrus has filed legal documents for ownership of a name that sounds exactly like something the couple would choose:
Bandit & Bardot.
We're getting a very 'Smokey and the Bandit' sort of southern United States vibe, mixed with the French elegance of Brigitte Bardot or perhaps, the iconic Australian girl band.
An Instagram account of the same name has also recently appeared and originally (they've now disappeared) was following just two people on the platform: Miley and Cody.
The profile photo for the account is a skull with a letter B in each eye cavity so we're getting a punk/rock vibe -- similar to a lot of their brooding Insta couples shoots.
The pair posted black and white shots of their recent Halloween costumes, dressing as rocker Billy Idol and his former wife and Hot Gossip dancer, Perri Lister.
It's not surprise that the musical pair have been collaborating, with Cody writing Miley a bespoke tune when she was in hospital recovering from tonsil surgery.
They also recently jumped into a jam-session with Miley's dad Billy Ray at a Happy Hippie event -- the singer's charity that focuses on homelessness and LGBTQ+ rights.
The trio played an acoustic version of Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" (with someone nailing a clarinet solo) as well as some Christmas tunes and please let Billy Ray be the third member of Bandit & Bardot.
