Just 'Four High School Mates Sharing This Journey': Human Nature First Boy Band Inducted Into ARIA Hall Of Fame

Human Nature have become the first boy band to be inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame.

The group emotionally recalled that it's been 30 years since they first performed together -- with a stint at the Bankstown Town Hall in Sydney starting off their musical journey.

After a medley that included some of their '90s bangers as well as their hugely successful Motown covers, the group reflected on some of their impressive stats from the last three decades.

Vocalist Phil Burton explained that in 30 years they'd performed over 40,000 shows -- only cancelling a handful of dates.

"Only one because of a hangover," he cheekily added, promising he wouldn't be naming any names.

Tones And I Delivers Powerful Speech After ARIAs Mixup

Tones and I accepted her first ARIA award for Best Independent Release -- powering on after a slight hiccup during the ceremony.

The group have stayed in over 1000 hotels over the years and apologised for their rock and roll moment when they broke a TV stand at the Gold Coast Marriott.

Burton added that they'd completed over two million synchronised dance moves and had "many fights and arguments" but all felt the same passion for the career they started off in high school.

"We're four high school mates sharing this journey together," the band agreed.

The medley and emotional speeches had everyone at home remembering how talented Human Nature are -- and how they successfully rebooted their career ten years ago.
