Crack Out Your Emo Eyeliner 'Cos My Chemical Romance Is Headlining Australia's Download Festival

Rock and metal festival Download is set to return to Australia with a whopper of a line-up.

Download Festival has officially dropped its lineup for 2020, and it's already shaping up to be a cracker of a day for rock and metal fans.

After 2019's event debut saw 20,000 heavy music fans rock out to the likes of Slayer and Alice in Chains, the festival's March 2020 event will serve up another two days of pure rock and metal fury across four stages in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne Pulls Out Of Australian Tour 'On Doctor's Orders'

Following the news that Ozzy Osbourne had cancelled his appearance at Download Festival Japan, it has been confirmed that the rocker will also be pulling out of the Australian leg of Download Festival.

This time around, artists such as My Chemical Romance, Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, Bodyjar, Clutch, Ministry and In Flames -- just to name a few -- will take the stage in what's set to be an amazing day of music.

It follows last week's news that kings of emo My Chemical Romance -- who first made their debut in 2002 with the album 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love' -- would officially be reuniting after splitting in 2013.

And if you're planning to wait on buying festival tickets in the hopes that the noughties icons will be doing sideshows, then you should probably know that the group's Download Festival performances will be their ONLY Australian performances -- so don't mess around nabbing a ticket!

My Chemical Romance Are Getting Back Together

  • Carcass
  • Lacuna Coil
  • Hands Like Houses
  •  In Hearts Wake
