Tones And I Just Became The First Aussie To Hit #1 On Spotify

Aussie artist Tones and I has just made Spotify history.

Her hit single 'Dance Monkey' has just hit number one Spotify Global Chart, making Tones and I, the first Australian artist to ever achieve this feat.

'Dance Monkey' has been streamed more than 222 million times on Spotify, and her EP 'The Kids Are Coming' has been streamed 331 million times.

Back home, Tones and I is already breaking ARIA records as the longest-running Australian artist to hold the number one spot.

'Dance Monkey' has been at the top of the ARIA singles chart for 11 consecutive weeks and has gone four-times Platinum.

Tones and I released her debut single 'Johnny Run Away' in May, which went two-times Platinum and peaked at number 12 on the ARIA singles chart.
