Cream Drummer Ginger Baker 'Critically Ill' In Hospital
The family of Ginger Baker, the legendary drummer and founding member of Cream, announced on social media that the musician was "critically ill" and in hospital.
“The Baker family are sad to announce that Ginger is critically ill in hospital. Please keep him in your prayers tonight,” the Twitter post from Ginger's official account read.
The drummer recently celebrated his 80th birthday in August and, while his family haven't revealed what caused the star to be hospitalised, he had previously spoken about suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic back pain as a result of degenerative osteoarthritis in 2013.
