Migos And Akon To Head Down Under For Hip-Hop Festival

They'll be joining French Montana, Lil Xan and more at DRIP World festival which kicks off at the end of August.

It's been a while since we've had a solid hip-hop festival in Australia. While some of the remaining annual events have seen at least one headliner fall among the rap and hip-hop genres, rarely do we see a lineup with some of the biggest hip-hop chart-toppers all in one place.

Well, all that is about to change with the arrival of all-new urban festival DRIP World, which just dropped its second artist announcement -- and honestly? It's an absolute cracker.

For the event's headline act, the world’s most recognisable hip hop trio, Migos -- made up of Cardi B's rapper husband Offset as well as Quavo and Takeoff -- are set to bring hits like “Versace”, “Walk It Talk It”, “MotorSport” and “Stir Fry”, as well as number one hit “Bad and Boujee” Down Under in what's sure to be a fire (but not Fyre) festival.

Completing the festival’s line-up are artists like Akon, Lil Baby and Rich The Kid who will take the stage alongside already announced hip hop legends French Montana, Lil Skies, Comethazine and Lil Xan.

Homegrown artist, Jai Waetford will also be joining the event, Aussie rapper Chillinit will perform exclusively for DRIP World Perth, while the nation’s number one R&B DJ across the airwaves, DJ K-Time, will be keeping everyone slaying the DF throughout the night.
