Lewis Capaldi Had The Best Response To Being 'Slagged Off' By Noel Gallagher

After a quick diss from Noel Gallagher, Lewis Capaldi announced it was "dreams coming true".

If you haven't heard of Capaldi, the 22-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter just released his debut album last month. Titled 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent', the recording artist has skyrocketed into the spotlight with the album reaching number one in the UK, Scotland and Irish charts.

But not everyone is a fan, obviously, after a Radio X interview with Noel Gallagher slamming... well... all of music.

"Music is f**king wank at the moment," Gallagher said before adding, "Who's this Capaldi fella? The f**k's that idiot?"

Capaldi filmed himself watching the clip responding, basically revelling in the quick moment, proudly claiming Gallagher's diss way better than his number one album.

"It's Father's Day and I'm being slagged off by a man who's old enough to be my dad," Capaldi said, "and I've never been more happy."

This isn't the first time Capaldi has been an absolute legend on social media. While his soulful crooning is impressive, he is an absolute manic lad online.

Take -- for instance -- this video after Capaldi found out his record had not only become number one but was also the UK's fastest-selling album of 2019.

"I look at all these other albums made by people like The Killers, Hot Snakes... LCD Soundsystem and I spit on them," Capaldi says in the clip, "I say 'Ha ha f**k off you albums, my album is number one'."

There was also the time where he googled his own net worth, which turned out to be $10 million.

"I've got less than $200 in my bank account right now so who the f**k's got my $10 million?"

There's also the video he made for his single "Someone You Loved" featuring Capaldi in various charming states -- for example, bent over a toilet, singing into a toilet brush, in the shower -- all the while wearing novelty sunglasses.

As the weepy ballad fades out the singer simply states, "I want to be taken seriously as a musician. Thank you."

'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent' is out now.
