Keith Urban To Headline Opening Of Western Sydney's $100 Million Theatre

The grand-opening on December 21 will officially launch the 2000-seat theatre located in Rooty Hill in Sydney's west.

Keith Urban is set to officially open the doors of the Sydney Coliseum Theatre with a grand-opening performance called 'The Keith Urban And Friends' concert.

According to the press release, the concert "has been created especially for the Sydney Coliseum Theatre and will feature performances by special guest Australian artists."

It comes after Urban just recently returned Down Under earlier this year for his highly-anticipated GRAFFITI U World Tour in January and February, along with last year's gig as host of the ARIA Awards.

The opening of the long-awaited theatre hopes to act as a performance hub for the greater Western Sydney Area and will host performances across ballet, symphonic music, drama, and other forms of performing arts.

He continued, "We are thrilled to be able to launch Sydney’s new world-class venue with an Award-winning performer of Keith Urban’s calibre and can’t wait to see him light up the stage at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ for our Grand Opening in December!"
