Someone Chucked A Lemon At Ariana Grande During Her Coachella Performance

Fans believe it may have something to do with Beyonce.

Ariana Grande shocked fans over the weekend during her Coachella week two set when she was joined on stage but Justin Bieber, but prior to that, the pop icon received a rude shock of her own when a crowd member pelted the star with a lemon.

Like, a literal lemon.

In the middle of her performance, Ari was dancing her way on over to a chair in the centre of a stage when the wayward lemon flew out of the crowd, hit her in the chest, and rolled off towards the audience.

“What the f**k? That’s ’cause one of y’all threw a lemon at me! S**t” the baffled starlet asked the crowd.

She briefly left the stage, before returning to perform 'NASA.'

Since the sour incident, a number of theories and of memes have emerged, with many believing the lemon-wielding culprit to be a disgruntled fan of Beyonce, given that her hugely popular 2016 album was called 'Lemonade' and her set at last year's festival was dubbed 'Beychella' -- which has since been replaced by 'Arichella'.

Whatever the reason, Arianators were not here for their queen being accosted by a rogue lemon during her show, with many blasting the rude gesture on social media -- especially given the extreme trauma the singer has gone through.

However, like the unbothered queen she is, Ari powered on through her performance, bringing Justin Bieber to the stage as he performed his hit 'Sorry' and broke the news to fans that a new album is on the way.

“I haven’t been on stage in like two years. I came out here, I had no idea I was going to be on this stage tonight, absolutely no idea," he told the crowd.

"I wore this fly outfit not knowing that I was going to be on stage. So anyways, this is my first time on stage in like two years. So I had to get my groove back...I had to get my swag back, you know what I’m saying? Thank you so much Coachella, thank you so much to Ariana Grande. And by the way...album coming soon.”
