Stevie Nicks Accidentally Said Her Bestie Harry Styles Was A Member Of *NSYNC

Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks got her boy bands a little mixed up while describing her beautiful friendship with Harry Styles.

The pair performed together after Styles inducted Nicks into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- making her the only woman in history to receive the honour twice.

But as Nicks gushed about the first time she met the former One Direction member, she made a very adorable blunder in a video captured on Twitter.

"What I loved about Harry, when he decided to make a solo record from *NSYNC..." she began, accidentally placing him in the '90s boy band.

The crowd in New York began to giggle -- probably imagining Styles in the same band as Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass -- and Nicks quickly realised her musical mistake.

"Not *NSYNC!" she exclaimed, adding that she was probably "never going to live that one down".

But it seems as though Harry really wouldn't mind that his "magical gypsy godmother" didn't remember the name of his old band.

The pair performed Nicks' track "Stop Dragging My Heart Around" together and Harry made a speech about his idol as she was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"She is more than a role model -- she’s a beacon to all of us," said Styles, Rolling Stone reports.

"Whenever you hear her voice, life gets a little bit better. When she sings, the world is hers, and it is yours.

"She is everything you’ve ever wanted in a lady, in a lover, in a friend," he added, which sent One Directioners into overdrive on Twitter, speculating whether the pair had actually hooked up.

Nicks has previously joked that Styles is her "love child" with bandmate Mick Fleetwood and that she'd "adopted" him after they first met in 2015.
