Fans Convinced Kylie Minogue Will Make An Appearance At Mardi Gras
Kylie Minogue has touched down in Sydney *suspiciously* close to Mardi Gras night.
And yes, our Impossible Princess has had the dates locked in for the Australian leg of her Golden tour for a while now -- but fans are getting excited she might pop out of a float at the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on March 2.
The "Dancing" singer posted a photo of herself casually sitting underneath the Harbour Bridge last night on her Twitter and Instagram pages.
"Touchdown! Hello Sydney," she wrote, announcing her arrival back home.
Kylie's Lovers -- the affectionate name for her fanbase -- immediately went into overdrive, calculating dates and coming to the conclusion that a Mardi Gras appearance could actually happen!
"There's no way Miss Kylie Minogue is in Sydney and won't be making a Mardi Gras appearance this weekend," wrote one fan, Asaf, on Twitter.
Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and featured LGBTQ icon Cher as the headliner, although her appearance was confirmed to fans in advance.
But there's still a very good chance Kylie will participate in some way at this year's festivities.
