The Jonas Brothers Are Reportedly Planning A Reunion And Fans Can't Deal
Nearly six years after they split, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas are apparently planning to reunite for a new project.
Except this time around, they'll be dropping 'Brothers' from their official name and instead be going by 'JONAS'.
According to The Sun, the trio recently headed to London, where they were in talks to reform and stage a comeback.
"This is going to be one of the biggest music reunions in years," a music insider told the publication.
"It’s no secret that things weren’t great by the end of the Jonas Brothers, but blood is thicker than water and they’ve healed their rift in the years since the split."
"After enjoying solo music success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together,” the source added.
While the boys have yet to comment on the whispers, the news has sent fans into meltdown, with many voicing their excitement over the potential reunion.
The Jonas Brothers formed in 2005 and officially disbanded in October 2013 after they suddenly cancelled their tour and deleted their Twitter account.
“We feel like it’s time that the Jonas Brothers comes to an end,” Kevin told Good Morning America upon the news of the split.
Nick added, “We’re family first… I came to the table with the guys… and shared my heart with them and my feelings. I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time [and] without addressing them I think this train will fall off the tracks.’”
And while the split was attributed to a "deep rift," Kevin told Us last year that he and his brothers still jam together when they get the chance.
“There are guitars everywhere around all of our houses. Pianos. Guitars. It’s kind of just in our blood. It’s in our nature,” he said.
“It’s not like we’re trying to do anything special, it’s just that we’re hanging out and music is a part of who we are. It always happens.”
Fingers crossed this rumour turns out to be legit!
