Crowd Loses It As Michelle Obama Takes The Grammys Stage
Who run the world? The former First Lady took the stage with icons J-Lo, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys.
The crowd at the Staples Centre were absolutely not prepared for the five powerful women to appear together at the Grammys.
But it was Obama's presence that left the room starstruck as she began to explain the impact music has had on her life.
"From the Motown records...” said Michelle Obama, pausing mid-speech as the room erupted in applause.

She continued on to say that that music has "always helped her to tell her story" as the icons on stage beside her absolutely beamed.
Viewers around the world similarly lost their sh** as they watched Obama kill it on stage at the Grammys.
Obama wrote on Instagram that a "big part of friendship" was "showing up for your girls".
"So I was thrilled to be there for the one and only @aliciakeys at the #Grammys. She is one of the most genuine, caring and thoughtful people I know -- there's no one better to help us celebrate the unifying power of music," said Obama.
Someone give Michelle a Grammy already!
