Rolling Loud Hip-Hop Festival Is Officially Coming To Australia In 2019
Get your debit cards ready, hip-hop heads.
Another mammoth festival is jumping across the pond to 'Straya, and this time it's Miami-born Rolling Loud Festival, which will be heading to Sydney on Australia Day weekend on January 27, 2019.
Founded in 2015, the event -- dubbed the biggest hip-hop festival in the world -- has seen modern hip-hop royalty such as Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky and Young Thug as part of its artist bill in previous years.
In fact, the three-day festival in Miami earlier this year drew the largest crowd to date -- 135,000 fans -- and saw big names like J. Cole, Travis Scott, Future, Migos, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert and dozens more perform at the massive gig.
Festival founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif said of the event heading down under, “We’re thrilled to make our Australian debut. Rap music is the most popular and fastest growing genre of music and the world deserves to experience curated line-ups of its biggest stars and hottest new talent.”
